Home Run Derby

LEGENDS Softball Tournament
  • Entry Fee is $10.00
  • Home Run Derby will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. If you play during this time, please inform a Committee Member during sign up. You may pre-register and hit before or after your game.
  • You may participate only once.
  • You must supply your own pitcher.
  • Each player gets a total of ten (10) swings.
  • Each hitter will be allowed to not swing at three (3) pitches during their turn.
  • Only fair ball home runs count. Umpire will be the final judge.
  • Only ASA approved bats are allowed.
  • The top two (2) will advance to the final round. The final round will be held on the same field. In case of a tie, we will allow those hitters to move on to the final round.
  • If there is a rainout, there will be no refunds unless you have not hit. The player with the most home runs will be declared the winner. In case of a tie, a coin flip or drawing would determine the winner.
  • UTTC LEGENDS Softball Tournament is not responsible for accidents, injuries, and/or damage to vehicles.
  • The derby will be run on a first-come-first-served basis. However, it does not guarantee you will be able to hit. We reserve the right to stop the derby at any time for any reason. Those who have signed up but have not hit will receive their money back.
  • This derby is an event to raise money for UTTC Scholarships and is ran by volunteers. Please have good sportsmanship.
